The Command and Control Center of the DRK in Berlin maintains a long list of urgently needed operational resources. Even ten days after the flood disaster, generators, special emergency vehicles, construction dryers, tanks and containers are still missing. Therefore the voluntary disaster control unit of the DRK Wolfenbüttel put together a delivery for the disaster area around Neuenahr-Ahrweiler in cooperation with the surrounding district associations.
